Classes
Middle School classes of academically sound instruction are geared for the average and above average student.  Christian education empowers our children with strong character to make a difference in the future.

Admission Requirements
Kindergarten applicants must be 5 years old by Sept. 1 of school year. First grade students must have completed kindergarten. Application for the new school year begins in February.  New students will need to take a grade level readiness test. Decisions for admission will be based on Personal interview, successful test evaluation, evaluation of previous records, individual readiness for the grade level, space availability, and the belief that MBCA can meet the needs of the applicant and his/her family.
Details and Forms are available by clicking here.

Curriculum
MBCA's basic enriched instruction consists of the following:

Reading and Language Arts objectives are met through a strong phonics based program and a wide range of whole language, therefore strengthening reading comprehension, writing skills, and problem solving.

Physical Education and Health focuses on exercise and proper nutrition to develop strong healthy bodies.

Computer Technology is a part of each class.

Christian Education: Bible is taught individually and integrated into the core curriculum.

Social Studies emphasizes a Christian world view.  Critical thinking and discernment are taught to help students make right choices and become contributing members of society.

Math and Science are taught through a hands on manipulative and problem solving approach.

Spanish classes enrich the child’s language experience.

American Sign Language helps develop both sides of the brain and increases the child’s cognitive abilities.

Fine Arts include music and art that encourages performance, creativity, theory, and history.  Formal music classes are twice a week and art is once a week.
