Children's Day Out (CDO)
13 months – 36 months
Must be of age by Sept 1 of current school year

Admission Requirements

Registration for  new students begins in February for the school year which will begin in August. Parents may continue to register their children until the class is filled.  The minimum age for our youngest class is thirteen months by September 1 of the current school year.  To register a child in Children’s Day Out or Preschool, turn in a registration card along with the registration fee, original birth certificate and current immunization information.

Preschool
3 and 4 years old
Must be of age by Sept 1 of current school year

Grades K - 6

Admission Requirements

• Kindergarten applicants must be 5 years old by Sept. 1 of school year.  
• First grade students must have completed kindergarten.  
• New students will need to take a grade level readiness test.
• An original birth certificate (for copying) and current immunization record must be presented.

Registration for new students begins in February for the school year which will begin in August.  Parents may continue to register their children until the class is filled.  Class age is based on the age of the child on September 1 of the school year.

To register a child:

• Admission application
• Admission Fee
• Previous Report Cards (if applicable)
• Most Recent Standardized Test Results (Stanford, Iowa, or TAKS )
• Original birth certificate (for copying)
• Current immunization record

Decisions for admissions are based on

• Personal interview
• Successful test evaluation
• Evaluation of previous records
• Individual readiness for the grade level
• Space availability
• The belief that MBCA can meet the needs of the applicant and his/her family

Notification of Acceptance:

Notification of status will be sent within one week of testing.
