Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)
Statement of Purpose
The purpose of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is to partner with Mission Bend Christian Academy (MBCA) in its mission to educate and support our children in a faith-based environment.
We will strive to fulfill this purpose by:
We commit to conduct ourselves and our activities in a Christ-like manner.
What We Do
The MBCA PTO carries out many vital functions for our school and students. We provide a web of support for the faculty and staff of MBCA, as well as the parents of our students. We assist in raising funds to fill in the gaps that Government funding and school tuition just doesn’t cover. We work to improve the resources and technologies of our classrooms so our teachers can offer the best in faith-based education. These extras not only enrich the lives of the students, it also greatly assists their learning. They say it takes a village – we ARE that village. And, ensuring our children’s success requires every single one of us; parent, teacher, support staff or board member.
Membership Privileges
Finally, this is a good opportunity to introduce our MBCA PTO board members and representatives for the 2009-10 school year.
